Our chapter is very active in the Young Eagles program.  We hold regular events that expose youths from the Genesee County and surrounding areas to the challenges and rewards associated with flight.

Our last Young Eagles Day for 2007 was not held due to the runway project and was not rescheduled due to cold, short days.

2008 Young Eagle Days Schedule

January 1 - Tuesday, New Year Day.  Contact Tim if you want to kick off the new year by flying bold Young Eagles willing to brave the cold.

April 12 - Saturday.  Spring Young Eagles Day at Dalton Airport

June 14 - Saturday.  International Young Eagles Day at Dalton Airport the day before our annual Dawn Patrol/Pancake Breakfast

August 16 - Saturday. Late Summer Young Eagles Day at Dalton Airport.

October 11 - Saturday.  Fall Young Eagles Day at Dalton Airport

Pilots will also be conducting Young Eagles flights at Owosso Airport on Sunday, May 18 (Lunch) and Sunday, September 21 (Breakfast)
